ReplyDeleteThe wonderful thing about kids and holidays is that nothing is "wrong", and whatever you do that first holiday of their memory, they are going to expect you to repeat, all the way through their growing up! It was this way with the olive cheese puffs, that are in fact a New Year's treat, but I made them the Thanksgiving that my nephew was four years old. And they became a Thanksgiving staple his whole childhood thereafter. They have moved to being a Christmas goodie in recent years.
